Exploring the Excitement of Three Free Games

Like every weekend, Xbox Game Pass unveils new free games for the weekend. Expect a wacky title and more traditional stuff.

The latest Xbox Game Pass games for April 2024 have been revealed by Microsoft and there are some unmissable ones like the French roguelike Have a Nice Death, or even Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. And this one stands out quite well since it's a day one release. If you like the style, this is going to be one of the titles to try this year. The three new free Xbox Game Pass games

We don't know if Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will be a gem, but the previous game, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising has a pretty good reputation on Steam. And to put things in order, Microsoft has announced the immediate availability of Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising in Xbox Game Pass. This is one of the games offered for Free Play Days. An initiative that allows you to play titles, in their full version, for three days. After this offer expires, the software is blocked until you decide to purchase it. For the selection from April 18 to 21, 2024, the XGP offers action-RPG, management and strategy and an improbable game where you may constantly lose your memory.

Eiyuden Chronicle Rising

Eiyuden Chronicle Rising which was already in Xbox Game Pass has joined “Free Play Days”. It's what ? An RPG developed by NatsumeAtari and published by 505 Games which prefers to take on its action counterpart, putting aside classic turn-based combat. But the clashes are only the tip of the iceberg. Eiyuden Chronicle Rising also offers to build your city. You will be able to play different characters and learn more about their past.

Dungeons 3

Dungeons 3, which is also playable in Xbox Game Pass for a few hours, is more reflective. It is indeed a management and strategy game which does not only focus on direct combat. When you are underground, you will be invited to develop traps or other defense forces, and when you are outside, the title will switch to RTS mode. And from there, it will be more eventful. If the Steam reviews are positive, we weren't completely won over on our side. Blame it on the humor, the RTS segment or the repetitiveness. But we remind you that it is included in Xbox Game Pass until Sunday, so we'll see you there.

I Am Fish

Finally the ultimate “gift” of these new “Free Play Days” Xbox Game Pass is none other thanI Am Fish. An indie adventure production where the player finds themselves controlling fish outside of their natural habitat. The Goldfish is ideal for swimming; the Pufferfish can inflate itself like a ball and roll; the Piranha is a dangerous predator with sharp teeth; and the Flying Fish has the ability to glide. We must avoid at all costs being crushed to death under the wheels of a vehicle and ensure that everyone ends up safe and sound.
