There is a very special game at the best price in the PlayStation Store. The Meta 90 title was only released last year for PS4 and PS5.
Hundreds of offers are activated in the PlayStation Store every week. However, these are usually recurring deals that often receive a consistent discount every month for years.

But there are exceptions. Sometimes quite new games with high meta scores are part of the deals and at the same time are offered at the previous best price. One such offering is “Cocoon,” which has never been sold cheaper on the PlayStation Store before.

“Cocoon” is an “adventure between worlds within worlds,” write the creators. The launch for PS4 and PS5 took place in September 2023 at a price of 24.99 euros.
Huge discounts shouldn’t be expected on a new game, but the discount in the PlayStation Store is still 30 percent. This reduces the amount to be paid to 17.49 euros. The price can be claimed until February 15, 2024.
But is it worth buying? There is a clear “yes” from critics and players here. The PlayStation Store gave it an average of 4.85 out of five possible stars. 88 percent of “Cocoon” owners contributed the highest possible rating.

The situation is similar on other platforms. In the case of the PS5 version, the Metascore is 90. And Metacritic users are also mostly satisfied with a score of 7.9.
GameSpot wrote last year: “From the puzzles to the graphics, Cocoon is a beautiful game full of brilliance and meaning conveyed in a subtle but unforgettable way.”
What is it about? With “Cocoon”, players can expect a special type of puzzle adventure genre, in which each world exists in a sphere that can be conveniently placed on the back.
First you have to learn the basic mechanics to jump between worlds. Players also have to use their skills to combine, manipulate and arrange the balls in order to successfully solve tricky puzzles. The title comes from Jeppe Carlsen, the lead gameplay designer of “Limbo” and “Inside”.
