It’s been in early access for a few months, but Deadzone: Rogue is out on PC now – and it’s even been announced it’ll be available for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series owners soon too.
A roguelite shooter that’s been thrilling thousands upon thousands of gamers already, this is a title you need to get involved with – and we’re here to tell you why.

A Dangerous Mission

The plot is actually nuanced considering this is – at its heart – an action packed FPS roguelite. But the basic gist is that you wake up on spacecraft ISS-X with no memory of who you are or why you’re there.
There’s previous time to work things out though, as there’s a whole army of rogue machines on their way to eliminate you.
So you have to, naturally, destroy them all. The gunplay in Deadzone: Rogue has already gained a lot of plaudits, and rightly so.
So I Just Started Blasting

There’s over 30 guns to use in the game, and each one can be improved and tweaked. You’ll likely want to try them all out though, as they all have different uses and advantages.
This comes to the fore especially as it’s a varied bunch of foes you’ll face, from fast moving machines to slower more powerful adversaries. Mixing and matching your weaponry to best deal with the constantly changing threats is essential.
And like any good roguelite, any death you face is just a way to come back stronger and smarter.
Solo and Co-op

Like with the Early Access version of the game there’s a range of difficulty modes to pick from too, alongside the option to play solo or with up to two friends in co-op.
The full 1.0 version on PC now includes a whole new Zone alongside the previously available two. This offers you the chance to take on 20 new enemies, learn all new abilities, and there’s even two new unique mini-bosses.
So you can download the Deadzone: Rogue demo now on Xbox Series and PS5, but the full version is also available on PC via Steam right now. We recommend you get involved, especially as it’s been discounted by 20% for a limited time.
