Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance allows the player to experience the story of Shin Megami Tensei V in its entirety, enhanced with a new storyline branch: Vengeful Goddess. This highly acclaimed game has evolved in every aspect, including its system and storyline, and will be available on multiple current-gen platforms!
At the start of the game, you can choose two different paths: the path of the original game, that of the Creator Goddess, as well as an entirely new route, that of the Vengeful Goddess, a dramatic story of revenge of the damned.
The Vengeful Goddess follows the SMTV storyline, but changes radically in the last part of the game. Its outcome will be completely different. Discover these two divergent stories at your leisure.

History
You will be God——
While our protagonist must take an unexpected detour after a sordid murder in the center of Tokyo, he finds himself lost and unconscious… He then wakes up in a new Tokyo ravaged by an apocalypse and now called Da'at. Attacked by bloodthirsty demons, he is saved at the last minute by a stranger with whom he unites to become a powerful being between human and demon: a Nahobino.
The hour of punishment draws near
Demons attack humans to create a world of chaos. At the opposite end of the spectrum is Bethel, an organization that seeks to protect the divine order. Caught in the conflict between the two, while exploring Da'at, the protagonist meets Yoko Hiromine and begins traveling alongside her. Both will fight on the front lines thanks to magic.
The Qadištu, four female demons, stand in their way. “I found it, the Key of Resurrection…” Lilith the Qadištu calls the protagonist Key of Resurrection and calls herself the Oppressed. What's their point ? The tale of the punishment of the fallen awaits you.

This title further expands the list of demons that appeared in Shin Megami Tensei V to offer more than 270, including new ones drawn by character designer Masayuki Doi!

Miracles
The Otherworld is a source of Glory, which symbolizes the majesty of God. This same Glory allows you to learn Miracles in the Shadow World.
Miracles are considered supernatural acts that change the providence of the world. There are different types, ranging from those that grant an advantage in exploring the Underworld and fighting demons, to those that affect conversations, fusion, skill affinity, and growth.
Collect Glory, learn Miracles and strengthen your protagonist.
You can enable or disable certain Miracles as you see fit.
(New Miracle) Support Skill: Stoma
Many new Miracles have been added. One of these skills, Estoma, can be activated by triggering a Magatsuhi Gauge. As long as it is active, only a few demons present on the field are able to detect you: when you encounter a demon, it disappears and combat is avoided.
Essence Fusion
As you explore Da'at, you may obtain an “essence”, a spirit that is a copy of a demon's abilities. There are essences for every demon. They contain the skills and resistances to the affinities of this one. By merging them with the protagonist, you can modify their skills or affinity resistances.
You can also merge essences with demons and freely replace skills except unique skills.
Side quest
The demons and characters present on the ground ask you to help them in secondary quests. If you complete these, you will receive various rewards.
Side quests come in various forms, from ones where you take control of a demon to ones that you must complete within a certain number of moon phases.
In addition to the events that occur in Da'at, side quests can also take place in the real Tokyo.
Side Quest – Return of the True Demon
The quests offered as DLC in Shin Megami Tensei V are included in full in this title. One of them, “Return of the True Demon”, can be completed by meeting certain conditions. You can add ＜Chaos＞ Mid-Demon as a member of your party.
A real challenge for experienced adventurers, this quest will test your strategy and courage in a combat like no other.
Virtual training
Located in the Tokyo Parliament, virtual training allows you to face already defeated opponents in single combat or in a series of uninterrupted clashes.
Among the combat formats, you can choose between the original mode, which faithfully reproduces the enemy's strength, and the challenge mode, in which the opponents are significantly strengthened compared to the original mode.
In challenge mode, every time you complete the game, the level of enemies to face increases by 100. Combat with virtual training will result in game over if you lose, so prepare well before taking on the challenge .
Level limit crossing
By meeting certain conditions, you can obtain a new Miracle, [Transcendance morale].
Once learned, the maximum level of the Nahobino and its demons can be increased to 150. This will allow you to create the strongest group there is.
Post-completion succession
After completing the main story, you can start again with some of the data retained when loading end-game data.
