Somewhat surprisingly, Amazon is now picking up another video game adaptation in series form. It was already running in the USA and is finally finding its way to Germany.

It's just a good thing that Amazon is now getting the video game adaptation of “Twisted Metal” has clawed. Viewers in the USA could see them on the Peacock streaming service as early as summer 2023.

But the service doesn't even exist here. Now Amazon has won the contract and is finally bringing the “Twisted Metal” series to Germany after months. Relatively surprisingly you can all ten episodes since April 26th Watch on Amazon with a Prime subscription (watch on Amazon Prime Video).
The series is based on the video game series of the same name, which was released for the Playstation between 1995 and 2012. Although Peacock is the original client of the series, it was developed and implemented directly by Playstation Productions and Sony Pictures Television. But what is it actually about? Back to “Twisted Metal” and the question: Is the series any good? An IMDb rating of 7.4 points sounds quite promising. However, only 67 percent of the professional critics on Rotten Tomatoes were enthusiastic about the series.
No matter, because outstanding 93 percent of actual viewers are in favor of the post-apocalyptic action comedy series.
