Very recently, the web was excited following the statements of actor Brashaad Mayweather. The actor, who plays the role of Patty in the first season of the Netflix series, took the time to answer an interview. During it, Mayweather spoke about the future of his character and, consequently, that of the live-action adaptation. One thing led to another, he suggested that seasons 2 and 3 – the latter has not yet been made official by the American giant – were going to be shot one after the other. The latest news is that the new round of episodes for season 2 is supposed to begin filming this summer.

From there, subscribers and fans of One Piece said to themselves that perhaps we should not wait so long to discover these two new seasons. Indeed, if the two seasons are filmed at the same time, this may lead Netflix to reduce the broadcast interval between the two. Faced with the magnitude of this declaration, Brashaad Mayweather had to regain control of communication by providing some clarifications. As another publication on the social network X (formerly Twitter) revealed, the actor only speculated about this consecutive shoot during his recent interview.
