We know a little more about the development of the third part of the FF7 remake, and there is nothing to worry about. That said, patience will still be required.
It's almost time to break out the champagne. Next week marks the arrival of FF7 Rebirth. We couldn't wait to write this sentence as we impatiently await the continuation of the 2020 remake. We will soon be able to go on an adventure again alongside Cloud and his gang, ready to face the changes that will occur at the storyline level. . But we're not here to talk to you about that. While eyes are on the second chapter of the total overhaul, we have received news of the conclusion which is in the works.

FF7 Remake 3 development is going well
The last time we heard about FF7 Remake 3 was when Tetsuya Nomura spoke with Famitsu. He then explained that the first draft of the main story was completed. Yoshinori Kitase, the producer of Rebirth, took the opportunity to mention the fact that it was Kazushige Nojima who had made a complete outline of the story. This is surely destined to change, but it allows us to have a more precise idea of the state of progress of the project. But that's not all, since we have something else delicious to eat.
Indeed, Julien Chieze recently had the opportunity to chat with Naoki Hamaguchi, the game's director, and Kitase about FF7 Rebirth. The sequel arriving on February 29 wasn't the only topic of discussion. The conclusion of the trilogy was mentioned, the aim being to find out if they had started working on it. The answer is obviously yes, and progress has already been made. The comparison with the development of Rebirth has also been made. In 2020, as the release of the remake approached, the second chapter was at an early stage, except perhaps on the storyline side. The same goes for 3. The latter could therefore also arrive in 4 years.
Of course, I can't tell you where we are, but we have already made progress on the storyline and we are thinking about some development points.
When we got to the end of development on FF7 Remake, we started talking about a sequel with Kazushige Nojima. I think we can say we are in the same situation today.
A scenario that will surprise everyone
4 years is what it took for FF7 Rebirth to arrive (even if it has not yet been released at the time of writing) after the release of the remake. And so, where will the story pick up in the final part of the revamp? Normally, just after the events of the Forgotten Capital, the former capital of the Cetras which, as a reminder, are the people of Aerith. It is there that she must meet a disastrous fate. At least on paper. Will things change? The game producer continues to play with our expectations by quickly approaching this passage.
Players are looking forward to this decisive moment… I would just tell people to play and experience this moment for themselves. And I for one think this would be a good place to end the game.
