Exciting Changes in the Latest Update

Stardew Valley has been in full swing for a month! The release of version 1.6. has created a general enthusiasm, which is not likely to go down if the game continues to be optimized like this.

Even if it is not the first game of its kind, far from it, Stardew Valley is THE reference in terms of cozy game style farm games. Particularly appreciated for its wealth of content and its astonishing lore, it is nevertheless the fruit of the work of one man: Eric Barone, alias ConcernedApe.

8 years after the game's release, the creator continues to offer new content. In particular, it deployed a new update massive a few weeks ago. As it turns out, it still manages to renew the gaming experience… at least on PC. In fact, the patch is not yet available on console. So, in the meantime, Barone continues to work on fixes.

More news for Stardew Valley

A month after the release of version 1.6, Stardew Valley is already receiving its patch 1.6.6, on PC. The creator of the game therefore endeavored to correct numerous minor bugs. We will particularly note certain improvements to the gameplay, notably with the hives and the minecart. The patch also rebalances the economy during the Desert Festival. Likewise, a new trade is now possible with the Ashsap Forest Raccoon.

Several fixes related to translations, notably in French, Chinese, Russian and German, have been made. Finally, several causes of crash during cutscenes and interacting with NPCs have been spotted. There should therefore be fewer concerns of this order from now on.

Finally, ConcernedApe is well aware of the creativity surrounding Stardew Valley. The community indeed creates many mods. Thus, it further develops the freedom of the game. However, this can sometimes lead to new problems. The developer has therefore made new fixes for modders.
