Europe refused to help Gazprom in testing satellite systems in Russia

The Franco-Italian company Thales Alenia Space has suspended work on a project for the Russian company Gazprom to create a center for assembling and testing satellite systems.

The center was supposed to be built in Shchelkovo, near Moscow, but due to sanctions, some “force majeure circumstances” arose, in connection with which the contractor refused to continue work.

The main reason was the inability to supply the necessary equipment and perform installation work.
