Endless Possibilities in Palworld

As the developers of Pocket Pair announced, there is no end in sight to the success of “Palworld”. The surprise hit recently passed the next impressive milestones on both the PC and Xbox consoles.

One of the biggest surprise hits of the last few months is undoubtedly “Palworld”, which started early access on the PC and Xbox consoles in January 2024.

After the developers of Pocket Pair confirmed a total of 19 million players at the beginning of the month, the Japanese studio pointed out in a recent statement that the next impressive milestones had recently been reached. Pocket Pair now speaks of 25 million players.

For one thing, Pocket Pair managed to sell 15 million units of “Palworld” on Steam since its release last month. There are also ten million users on the Xbox platforms.

Pocket Pair says it is currently working on both bug fixes and new content. The studio would also like to take action against cheaters and hackers.

This content is planned

A few days ago, Pocket Pair pointed out that the studio is currently looking for reinforcements in the form of developers. Among other things, those responsible would like to expand the teams that are currently working on new content for “Palworld”.

Regarding the planned content, Pocket Pair recently stated that the responsible teams are working on new pals, areas and an extensive PvP component. Online arenas are also planned, in which you will have the opportunity to pit your Pals against other players.

Furthermore, the developers are currently busy fixing errors and making technical improvements. Here, for example, the developers want to optimize artificial intelligence and general performance.

It is still unclear when “Palworld” will leave the early access program and be available in the form of the full version. It therefore remains to be seen when a release for the PS5 can be expected.

Like Sony's Shuhei Yoshida last month indicated, Sony Interactive Entertainment is already trying to bring the indie hit to the PS5. An official announcement for Sony's console should only be a matter of time.
