The Summer Heat event will take place at Disney Dreamlight Valley from August 5th to August 18th, 2026. We will explain to you how it works and offer you solutions to the tasks.
Procedure for the “Summer Heat” event 2026
With the start of “Summer Heat” you will receive information from various residents of the valley daily tasks. These include, for example, Remy, Goofy and Ursula. As soon as it starts, you have to speak to the relevant characters every day and complete their daily missions.
You can also choose pink and blue Collect marshmallows and craft items from them to unlock further rewards. You will find these on the floor of the valley, as you already know from previous events.
Rewards in the Summer Heat event
As part of “Summer Heat” you can unlock numerous furniture and accessories that fit the theme of summer. You were able to get most of them last year, but there are also new ones. You can already see the following items in the menu:
- NEW: Sea pier
- NEW: Pier “corner”
- NEW: Jetty “boat dock”
- NEW: Summer picnic basket
- NEW: Decorative picnic basket
- Summer workbench
- Barbecue cooking station
- Outdoor lounge chair
- Campfire place
- Vintage cooler
- Binoculars
- Hiking backpack
Tips for “summer heat” and after the event
- Companion Bonus: Characters with the Collect role typically increase the amount of marshmallows you can collect at event bushes. So be sure to let us accompany you.
- Ancient Vacuum Cleaner (DLC): The device from the expansion “A Rift in Time” usually collects all items lying on the ground in a biome, which also worked in past ground spawns. So you can use it to suck up marshmallows from the ground.
- Inventory & Multiplayer: Event resources remain in the chests after the event ends and can be placed on the ground and traded in multiplayer. This means you can help each other collect enough marshmallows and save the excess for the event in 2027. Even if it hasn’t been announced yet.
