Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2: Future Saga Chapter 1 & Update #18 have a date

Today Bandai Namco Games gave an appointment to both the first chapter of the “Future Saga” DLC and the 18th title update for the fighting title “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2”. A trailer sets the mood for the upcoming content.

Even more than seven and a half years after its original release, the fast-paced anime brawl “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” further supported with updates and new content.

For example, next Thursday, May 24th, 2024 will appear native implementations of the fighting title for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. If you already own “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” for the PS4 or Xbox One, you can transfer your progress and continue your adventure seamlessly on the current consoles.

As Bandai Namco Games announced, the release for the current-gen consoles will not stop this week. Instead, the first chapter of the end of March will appear on May 24, 2024 announced “Future Saga” DLCs as well as the now 18th title update, which is offered for free.

The first chapter of Future Saga offers this content

According to the official description, the first chapter of “Future Saga” expands “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” with a whole host of new content. We can look forward to three additional missions, twelve additional quests, 15 new skills, three exclusive outfits, five new super souls and 63 additional illustrations for the loading screens.

In addition, the first chapter of the DLC “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” expands with the following characters.

  • Android 18 (Dragon Ball Super)
  • Broly (Restrained)
  • Goku Black (Super Saiyan Rose) Ultra Supervillain
  • Vegeta (Super Saiyan God) Ultra Supervillain
  • Videl (Dragon Ball Super)

Title Update #18 delivers features and fresh content

Regardless of the preferred platform, all owners of “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” can download title update #18 for free starting Thursday. With the update in question, various features and minor improvements are introduced.

Also on offer are seven raid quests, eight costumes, three aura accessories, 93 new artworks for the loading screens and five additional super souls.



“Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” was initially released in October 2016 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. An implementation for Nintendo's Switch followed in 2017.

The final ports are likely to be the versions for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S that will be released this week.
