Prosecutor General’s Office of the DPR: the remains of 172 Ukrainian soldiers were found on the territory of Azovstal
The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) said that the remains of 172 dead Ukrainian soldiers were found on the territory of the Mariupol plant “Azovstal”. This is reported in Telegramchannel of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
“Investigators of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the DPR, together with employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the DPR, continue to work on examining the territory of the city of Mariupol, including the Azovstal plant. At the moment, the remains of 172 Ukrainian servicemen have been found on the territory of the specified enterprise,» the statement said.
The Prosecutor General’s Office also published the names of 52 dead Ukrainian soldiers, whose remains, according to the supervisory agency, were found in Mariupol at the end of May.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, from May 16 to May 20, 2,439 Ukrainian servicemen who were on Azovstal surrendered their weapons and surrendered.
