Disk edition is still coming – review bombing with a difference

The closure of Tango Gameworks doesn't change that: “Hi-Fi Rush” is getting a physical edition for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

A follow-up to “Hi-Fi Rush” is following the recent studio closures off the table. However, a physical edition for the two consoles Xbox Series X/S and PS5 is still planned. This was confirmed by Limited Run Games Twitter/X.

“But have we forgotten that? As long as we don’t say otherwise, Hi-Fi Rush is ready for use!” writes the responsible team.

The physical edition was announced on February 21st. When exactly the release will take place is still unknown.

No pre-orders possible yet

Of course, the fans are happy about this in the comments. One of them hopes the edition “sells like crazy” after current events. However, pre-orders are not yet possible at the moment.

Furthermore, a rare phenomenon is currently occurring on Steam: The rhythm-action game is flooded with positive reviews on Steam. Almost all of the recently submitted reviews are extremely positive.

New ratings are constantly being submitted. In it, players express their dissatisfaction with Microsoft, which is why some negative reviews appear. This is not “Hi-Fi-Rush” being criticized, but rather the closure of developer studio Tango Gameworks.

“Never buy anything from Microsoft again. Lesson learned,” writes one.



Why the developer behind the game has to close down Sarah tried to explain to Bond. Unfortunately, the Xbox President beat around the bush, which is why there is still no proper explanation.
