The aliens return to TF1+

In 1996, Roland Emmerich blew everyone away with Independence Day, a particularly cult science fiction film where the world was invaded by aliens. So yes, the pitch had already been well exploited in the past, but the presence of Will Smith, Bill Pullman and even Jeff Goldblum in the casting, spectacular special effects and legendary destructive scenes quickly elevated it to the Pantheon of films of the gender.

Subsequently, Emerich continued in his style: he is behind the Godzilla of 1998, but also signed the disaster films The Day After in 2004, 2012 in 2009 and Moonfall in 2022. And then, in the meantime, he also released Indendance Day Resurgence in 2016, following up his famous 90s blockbuster.

On the program: the return of aliens of course, but also of certain characters (those of Goldblum, Pullman and Vivica A. Fox) while the faces of Liam Hemworth, Maika Monroe and Jessie Usher make their appearance. The whole thing didn't really have the expected effect at the box office, but nevertheless turned out to be a frankly entertaining blockbuster. Good news therefore since it is currently available on TF1+, a normally paid service but on which you can request a free trial and thus benefit from this large-scale alien invasion.
