In Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, you need to find blown-away dragons to complete the side mission “The Wind Will Carry Us” and to get the “Tethered Dragon” achievement. Below we will show you all the locations.
Complete “The Wind Will Carry Us” & unlock tether kites
There are nine dragons blown away in total. If you find and collect all of them, not only will you be able to complete the side mission “The Wind Will Carry Us,” but you will also receive the “Tethered Kite” trophy. The locations of the dragons are not automatically marked on the map, just like in the comics, so the search can sometimes be a little more difficult.
You can recognize the dragons by their orange color. As soon as you collect the first of them, the side quest “The Wind Will Carry Us” starts. All nine dragons are in the High Plains area, specifically the Shattered Bridge and Mothers of the Rivers areas. By the way, you don’t have to collect them in any particular order.
After you own all nine dragons, you will immediately receive the “Tethered Dragon” trophy. However, we advise you to go to Fa’zak in the large Na’vi camp in the “High Plains” and deliver the dragons there. You will then complete the side mission “The Wind Will Carry Us” and receive the associated rewards. Among other things, you get skill points and new equipment.
