The first preview of DevToys was released in mid-June. A lot has happened since then and we are now at Preview 4. The tool itself is primarily intended for developers, but not only for them. It offers great tools.
A lot was added in the first version and now it is cross-platform. Since then, a few more functions have been added. Here is a small excerpt:
- Two new tools are available via Manage Extensions: JSON to C# Converter and RESX Translator
- Reduced CPU usage on the All Tools page.
- Added DPI detection on Windows
- UUID v7 support added to UUID Generator
- Improved code editor loading time and improved startup time
- And in the new Preview 4:
- DevToys can now check for updates for installed extensions
- Fixed an issue on macOS Sequoia where the app was empty
- Fixed an issue in Windows 11 where the title bar was not proportioned correctly.
- Improved layout of the date converter and added ISO 8601 support
- A parameter for the maximum length has been added to the Lorem Ipsum generator
- New extensions available via the Extension Manager: XML / XSD Converter, RSA Generator, File Splitter, Text Duplication Detector.
The preview can be used as an app, portable version or as an installation alongside the final 1.0.13.0.
