Devil May Cry: Let’s Rock!





A new teaser shows what the half-demon Dante experiences in the upcoming Netflix series. The streaming company has finally announced the launch date.





Dante will soon go demon hunting on Netflix.


Next to “Splinter Cell” and “Tomb Raider“ Netflix also presented a video for the “Devil May Cry” series in the current Geeked Week. In the 1:17 minute long teaser you can see how protagonist Dante goes demon hunting with his pistol and sword as usual.

Capcom and Studio Mir are jointly responsible for this animation series. It is directed by Indian-American film producer Adi Shankar, who was also the showrunner for “Castlevania”.

All good things come to those who wait?

The Confirmation A “DmC” series was announced in November 2018. Almost six years later, the release is finally in sight. With the teaser embedded below, Netflix has finally announced the release date of “Devil May Cry”. It is finally scheduled to happen in April 2025. As soon as the exact date is confirmed, we will inform you as soon as possible.

What do the fans say? Many viewers first noticed Dante's resemblance to Nero. The reason for this is that it is a prequel and Dante is therefore much younger than in the games. And the protagonist is actually voiced by Nero actor Johnny Yong Bosch.

Overall, the trailer seems to be well received. One of them says: “Netflix, if you don't get this right, we'll never forgive you.”

What goals the creator pursues with this show, he explained almost a year agoShankar said he wants to create one of the best productions in Netflix's catalog. The whole team loves the franchise, he said. Shankar also planned, as of November 2021, several seasons to produce. Whether anything will come of it depends on the success of the first season.
