The livestream for the presentation of “Destiny 2: The Final Shape” will take place on April 9, 2024. It's Tuesday of next week. The show starts at 6:30 p.m. Central European Time.

“The Final Shape” will be released later than initially planned. Bungie postponed the expansion for “Destiny 2” last November. The launch was originally scheduled for February 27, 2024. The studio is now expecting a release on June 4, 2024.

“The Final Shape is the culmination of the first ten years of Destiny's story and the countless hours the Guardians have spent together,” Bungie said some time ago.

With the additional development time, the studio wanted to create time to “deliver an even bigger and bolder vision” that it hopes will be “remembered and appreciated for years to come.”

Before the big expansion, “Destiny 2” players are preparing for the new challenges with “Into the Light”. This brings “Onslaught” into the shooter. It's a new PvE activity that Guardians can engage in to fend off waves of attacking enemies as they attempt to storm the final city.
