Destiny 2: An Epic Trailer Featuring Cayde-6 in a Battle of Good and Evil

Bungie although it was bought by Sonyits communication still remains independent, but that does not prevent blunders on the part of the Japanese giant… We once again have proof of this last night since chain Youtube official PlayStation released the new trailer for Destiny 2: Final Form too muchwhich should undoubtedly have appeared at the end of the afternoon this Tuesday, forcing the Bellevue studio to put it online quickly. After a presentation last summer revealing the Pale heart of Traveler as a destination and new Supers of Lightthen a three-month postponement that followed, the expansion made a remarkable return in early April with a preview of gameplay particularly exciting. Prismatic doctrine allowing us to combine our powers and new enemies within a new faction named Fear (Dread), the hype has clearly risen among the fans. With a good month and a half remaining, it is now time to a traditional trailer highlighting the new destination and its dangersas there had been for the Throne World of Savathûn And Neomuna. If you weren't yet excited, the studio has once again put together a video with everything you need to be excited!

And it starts with the fact that it is this dear Cayde-6 who acts as narrator throughout these intense two minutes, highlighting this duality between the paradise recreated by our memories within the Traveler and the hell that is the corruption brought by the Witness. This playing field which may at times seem familiar to us, as with the presence of theOld Towerobviously reserves many surprises, since Bungie intends to turn our heads, literally. We indeed see a Guardianor rather his weapon in first person view, walk on the ceiling with his squad and it doesn't seem to be just an effect for the video. We are already imagining the possible puzzle phases to have to jump through like this!

What is also striking is the distance separating our starting point near the gigantic triangular portal of the Monolith what is the building being built Witness, the destination being, as a reminder, touted as linear unlike the previous ones forming a loop. More interestingly, we see the use of theAegis of Glass vault to face a Ogre of the Hive. Known enemies and allies will also make an appearance, but some or all will potentially be recreations from our memories. Kelgorath will therefore still stand in our way (the competition with Taniks for the number of comebacks is fierce). The same will potentially be true for Savathûn, Mithrax And Caiatlunless the real ones manage to pass through the portal and fight alongside us for the side Avengers Endgame of the situation, what is possible for the Witch Queen since she has the Light, but seems less credible for the other two currently. A Tormentor equipped with protections on the shoulders and torso is also visiblepotentially a boss ofAssault or end of mission.

The last words are left to Witnesswhich expresses an “anger” of which we have already had a glimpse in Eclipse in front of Callus with his “enough” sending shivers down your spine, before letting go a line that could well end up as a meme: “a final form is coming”.

And he is not wrong, because Destiny 2: Final Form is due June 4 coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. You can pre-order the expansion at the house of Gamesplanet from €44.99.
