Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.2: gameplay, quests… the complete patch note in French | Xbox One

Cyberpunk 2077 welcomes a major new update today. Patch 2.2 is in fact available now on all media, and there are many changes.

A new update is available

Fixes related to quests, gameplay, performance and even audio are notably available in this update. They are valid for both the base game and the expansion. Phantom Liberty which is also largely affected by this update.

Patch 2.02 is rolling out to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, and you should be able to download it now on Xbox.

Remember that Cyberpunk 2077 is playable now on Xbox One, PlaySation 4 and PC as well as on Xbox Series X|S and PS5, but that these fixes only concern the current-gen versions of the game.

Phantom Liberty specific changes

  • Rebalanced time limits for vehicle contracts.
  • Various fixes to animations, lighting, scenes, visual effects, etc.
  • Fixed collision issues that could cause you to get stuck in different locations.
  • When starting a new game and selecting the “Advance to Phantom Liberty” option, quests simulated as completed will now appear in the journal.
  • Fixed a bug where the Quadra Sport R-7 “Vigilante” was not available for sale on the Autofixer website in some cases.
  • Fixed a bug where there were blockades in front of the Dogtown gates, preventing entry.
  • Sasquatch’s Hammer will now appear in the stadium black market vendor’s inventory if it has not been collected after the Sasquatch boss fight.
  • Dex’s body will now appear in the dump for saves where the “Advance to Phantom Liberty” option has been selected.
  • From now on, it will be possible to take Jackie’s weapons from the altar of El Coyote Cojo for saves where the “Advance to Phantom Liberty” option has been selected.
  • Fixed a bug where a temporary message was displayed on Xbox Series X|S instead of an error message regarding installing Phantom Liberty.
  • Addicted To Chaos – Fixed a bug where it became impossible to complete the quest if the cache was looted before receiving the message containing the code.
  • Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos – Fixed a bug where, under certain circumstances, the quest would remain active after failing if you did not follow the tracks left by Songbird.
  • Firestarter – It will no longer be possible to dismantle the Stadium Security Data Shard after collecting it from Hansen’s body, which was blocking quest progression.
  • Firestarter – It will now be possible to recover the Eagle weapon after siding with Songbird.
  • Contract: Paths of Redemption – Fixed a bug where the door leading to the stadium’s weapons factory could be opened by accident earlier during Firestarter, which later hindered contract progress and could get you stuck behind it the door.
  • Hi Ho Silver Lining – Fixed a bug where the objective “Leave the Heavy Hearts.” » might not be marked as completed after leaving Heavy Hearts.
  • I’ve Seen That Face Before – Fixed a bug where the objective “Go to Observation Point.” » might not be marked as completed after reaching the observation point.
  • Moving Heat – Fixed a bug where you couldn’t get into the car because it didn’t appear.

  • Spider and the Fly – Fixed a bug where the boss fight against the Chimera might not start.

  • The Killing Moon – Fixed a bug that could trigger the police system when driving to the spaceport.

  • Tomorrow Never Knows – Fixed a bug where it was impossible to ask Misty about tarot cards after completing Heroes.
  • New Person, Same Old Mistakes – Fixed a bug where the portal to Bill’s Hot Dog Stand was still closed for some players after the 2.01 update.

Quests and open world

  • Fixed a bug where the Quadra Type-66 “Wingate” was not visible in the Call Vehicle menu after purchase.
  • Johnny will no longer appear when you collect the Trauma Drama reward before completing Act 1.
  • The Trauma Team website will now be accessible on V’s computer when the Killing in the Name quest is active.
  • Beat on the Brat: Arroyo – Fixed a bug where beating Buck while having the Microgenerator cybernetic gear equipped could prevent the quest from being completed.
  • Contract: We’ve Got Your Wife – Fixed a bug where approaching the quest area might not trigger the contract.
  • Life During Wartime – Fixed a bug where Panam might not get on her motorcycle and ride to the gas station if V got on her motorcycle before her.
  • Path of Glory – V will no longer make a flat line after boarding the Navi Delamain.
  • The Beast in Me – Fixed a bug where it was impossible to shoot from the vehicle while racing.

Gameplay

  • Rebalanced the stats of certain weapons taking into account player feedback.
  • The Malorian Arms 3516 has been improved. Its recoil is easier to manage, even with low stamina, and its damage has been increased.
  • Now, crafting blueprints for Iconic weapons will disappear once the item is crafted.
  • Added missing stats to the monocable tooltip.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed junk to be duplicated.
  • Bullets now deal correct damage when shooting through glass.
  • Fixed a bug where it was possible to easily obtain level 5 skill shards at the start of the game. Their prices have also been adjusted.
  • Disabled Quick Hack Lure enemies stationed at the edge of an area they are not supposed to leave.
  • Fixed a bug where the Data Recycling perk would recover base RAM consumption without taking into account the RAM consumption reduction benefits, resulting in recovering more RAM than was used.
  • Fixed cases where mob NPCs could pass through vehicles while walking.
  • Fixed a bug where elevators in various quests could stop on the wrong floor if you saved or loaded the game after the elevator had started moving.
  • Fixed a bug where the appearance of V’s hands in first person view would not change correctly after installing or uninstalling cybernetic arm hardware.
  • Giving money to a homeless person will no longer lower your NCPD wanted level.

PC specific modifications

  • If you select the default graphics settings, the game should now select the correct “Quick Preset” based on your hardware and the latest system recommendations.
  • Added a mechanism to detect corrupted or unsuitable scripts due to outdated mods or file corruption during update or installation. Now the game will display a descriptive error message and close instead of crashing.

Console-specific changes

  • The size of the internal sav.dat buffer has been increased to 15 MiB, without increasing the maximum total size of backups.
  • The save process has been changed to not overwrite a save until the data is confirmed to be valid. This will help prevent corruption of the backup if there is not enough space available.

Miscellaneous

  • Miscellaneous optimizations, performance improvements and crash fixes.
  • Fixed a bug that could unlock achievements or trophies if you loaded a save from before version 2.0 into version 2.01, even if you didn’t meet the requirements. Note that this fix will not reset already unlocked achievements or trophies.
  • Fixed a bug that, under certain circumstances, could cause the “Alert – spotted” message to appear instead of the “Completed” message, when your vehicle was scanned or when you connected your personal link.
  • Fixed a garbage flashing bug sometimes visible when crawling out of the dump in Playing for Time.
  • Fixed an incorrectly set Johnny malfunction effect.
  • Fixed a bug where NPCs could appear stretched when affected by explosions or the Wild Strike ability.
  • Fixed a bug where map tooltips and interaction messages for renting apartments showed an amount twice the actual price.
  • The cross progression system can no longer load saves that exceed the maximum size on console, to avoid crashes and problems when importing such saves.
  • The voice acting has been remastered to improve the audio quality in German, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese.
  • Fixed an issue where cyberware could be downgraded to level 1 after updating the game to version 2.01.
  • Fixed skill progression passives.
