Crossover with gacha game “absolutely” being planned

With Stellar Blade On the market, protagonist Eve now swings her deadly blade and her long ponytail at numerous Playstation players. The post-apocalyptic action-adventure impresses with a visually impressive world and a combat system that is second nature.

However, the appearance of the attractive heroine is always a topic of reporting – including for us. Skin-tight battle suits and seductively wobbling body proportions often raise the question of whether it has to be to this extent. Developer Shift Up has already done this in the previous work – the mobile game Goddess of Victory: Nikke – is committed to often focusing on the female underside. A cooperation between the two games would therefore not be far-fetched.

Stellar Blade: Is Eve coming to your mobile devices soon?

And in fact, Kim Hyung-tae, CEO and character designer at Shift Up, has already announced that he is planning a crossover of Stellar Blade with the free-to-play gacha game. “Absolutely,” says a video from GamerBraves, “when the time is right, we will become one high quality collaboration present between these two games. It will definitely be something to look forward to.”

However, the standards by which this high quality is based can be critically questioned. The gacha shooter Goddess of Victory: Nikke focuses largely on the protagonists sticking out their – usually only partially covered – buttocks towards you in a shooting match and their Bodies shaking to the beat of the barrage let. In contrast, Stellar Blade – even though Eve's voluptuous figure is often the focus of the camera shot and the outfits often seem to reveal more than they cover – almost seems like a modest child's play.

By the way, Goddess of Victory: Nikke only had a month-long release last fall Crossovers with NieR: Automata. At least that's what Kim chose for Stellar Blade inspire in terms of premise and worldbuilding. This in turn praised NieR creators Yoko Taro at a meeting of the two men especially for its graphics and character design.
