Chiori Skill
Active skills
- Normal Attack – Weaving Blade : Chains up to 4 sword strikes.
- Charged Attack : Consumes stamina to unleash two quick sword strikes.
- Plunging Attack : Dive from the air to strike the ground, dealing damage to enemies on the way and dealing area damage on impact.
- Feather caress : After dashing forward on her dancing, silky feet, Chiori summons her automaton doll Tamoto next to her and performs an upward attack at the end of her dash, dealing Geo damage to nearby enemies depending on its attack and defense. In case of long press, the skill is triggered differently.
- Long press: Switches to aiming mode, which allows you to adjust the direction of the dash.
- Tamoto:
- Slash nearby enemies intermittently to deal Geo AoE damage based on Chiori's attack and defense.
- During the duration, if a Geo construct is nearby or if a Geo construct is created, an additional Tamoto is summoned near your deployed character. Only one additional Tamoto can be summoned in this way and its duration is calculated independently.
- Hiyoku: Twin Blades : Drawing two blades from their sheaths, Chiori slices with the cutting skills of an expert shear, dealing Geo damage based on her attack and defense.
Passive skills
- Custom made : For a short time after using the upward attack of Feather Caress, various effects occur depending on your next action: a single press of the elemental skill button triggers the Tapestry effect, while a single press of the normal attack triggers the Brocatelle effect.
- Tapestry
- Deploy the next character on your team.
- Grants the Opportunism effect to all your characters in the team: when a normal, charged or diving attack from your deployed character hits a nearby enemy, a Tamoto performs a coordinated attack dealing Geo area damage worth 100% damage from Feather Stroke's upward attack to the enemy's location. Damage dealt in this manner is considered elemental skill damage.
- The Opportunism effect lasts 8 seconds, a Tamoto's coordinated attack can be triggered once every 2 sec, and a maximum of 2 coordinated attacks can be triggered during an Opportunism effect.
- Brocatelle:
- Chiori benefits from a Geo enchantment for 5 seconds.
- If Chiori is on the field and does not use a single tap to trigger an elemental skill or normal attack for a short duration after Feather Caress' upward attack, the Brocatelle effect triggers by default.
- Tapestry
- Aura of grace : When one of your characters in the team wears an outfit other than their default outfit or a wind glider other than the beginner's glider, your characters in the team gain the Quick Stride effect: increases movement speed of 10%. This effect does not apply in dungeons, Conquest Dungeons, and Spiral Depths, and cannot be stacked.
- Final touch-up : When a character from the nearby team creates a Geo construct, Chiori benefits from a 20% Geo damage bonus for 20 seconds.
Constellation
- Six Ways of Silk : The attack range of Tamoto Automaton Dolls from Feather Caress increases by 50%. Additionally, if a Geo character (apart from Chiori) is on the team, the following effects trigger at the end of the Feather Caress rush:
- Summons an additional Tamoto. There can only be one additional Tamoto at a time, whether it is summoned this way or through a Geo construct.
- Triggers “Final touch-up”. The “Final Touch Up” passive ability must already be unlocked.
- Five colors of dye : For 10 seconds after using Hiyoku: Twin Blades, a Kinu simplified automaton doll is summoned next to your deployed character every 3 seconds. The Kinu attacks nearby enemies, dealing Geo AoE damage worth 170% of Tamoto's damage. Damage dealt in this manner is considered elemental skill damage. The Kinu leaves the battlefield after an attack or a 3 second delay.
- Four brocade alterations : Feather Caress skill level +3.
- Three ways of embroidery : For 8 seconds after triggering an effect of the “Customized” passive ability, when a normal, charged or diving attack from your deployed character hits a nearby enemy, a simplified Kinu automaton doll is summoned near the latter . A Kinu can be summoned once every second in this way, and a maximum of 3 Kinu can be summoned in this way during the duration of a Brocatelle or Opportunism effect of the “Customized” passive ability. This effect can trigger once every 15 sec. The “Customized” passive ability must already be unlocked.
- Two satin feathers : Hiyoku skill level: Twin blades +3.
- A precept : After triggering an effect of the passive ability “Customized”, the cooldown of Chiori's Feather Caress is reduced by 12 seconds. The “Customized” passive ability must already be unlocked. Additionally, the damage dealt by Chiori's normal attacks increases by an amount equal to 235% of her defense.
How to play Chiori
Even if her skill will give her a Geo effect on her attacks, Chiori is not necessarily a character that we will want to keep on the field to chain basic attacks, even if it is obviously possible (and viable) . Instead, you have to make sure to change character (towards main DPS or other) with your skill, letting your construction attack when it is not on the field.
Who should Chiori play with?
Naturally Chiori will go with another Geo character, at least one that can have a Geo build on the field. It therefore naturally fits into the Full Geo teams, but not only that.
