Certain Affinity: Layoffs at Call of Duty and Halo studios

Another development studio recently confirmed layoffs, the “Call of Duty” and “Halo” makers Certain Affinity. Affects 10 percent of the Austin, Texas-based company's workforce.

The bad news for employees in the games industry seems to never end. Throughout its more than 17-year history, Certain Affinity has… over three dozen projects contributed. These include spin-offs of the “Call of Duty” and “Halo” series, the reboots of “DOOM” and “Prey” as well as the action-adventures “Gotham Knights” and “Hogwarts Legacy” and Valve’s multiplayer hit “ Left 4 Dead”.
