In the weeks after Easter, PlayStation 5 prices have returned to normal. Where and how you can buy a PS5 cheaply.
Update from April 26, 2024 (11 a.m.): You won't find any real bargains in German retail at the moment: the price for a PlayStation 5 Slim with a drive remains unchanged at €540 to €550 – the PS5 Slim Digital Edition costs €100 less.
Rumors regarding a PlayStation 5 Pro persist – but as long as Sony Interactive doesn't make any official announcements, they will remain: rumors. Only in combination with the PS5 Pro will there be a noticeable reduction in the recommended retail price for the PS5 Slim.

Update from April 5, 2024 (11 a.m.): The prices for the PlayStation 5 are currently at the same level as the list price of €550 almost across the board. However, there is a special bargain at MediaMarkt and Saturn: a package consisting of the PS5 Slim plus an additional DualSense controller in black or sterling silver is available for €509 (while stocks last mediamarkt.de* and saturn.de*). Compared to purchasing individually, the savings are therefore over €100.
Report from April 2, 2024 (11 a.m.): The official Sony PS5 Easter campaign has now ended – and with it the phase of extremely low prices for the console. From now on you will have to dig a little deeper into your pockets again, because most providers have temporarily returned to the still valid RRP of €550.
Tip: The MediaMarkt/Saturn promotion with a 20 percent discount on PlayStation 5 games is valid until April 8, 2024 – the savings will be displayed directly in the shopping cart.
