This film tells the story of Howard Ratner (Adam Sandler), a New York jeweler who receives an Ethiopian opal, endowed with value. Adam Sandler thanks him and explains that it's probably the freest film he has made, even if he was afraid that such a role would be poorly received, he who is rather known for comic roles.
