According to twitter user vx-undergroundsomeone posted on torrents a test build of one of the most anticipated games of this year – Counter-Strike 2. An extremely limited number of people had access to its beta version, and one of them probably leaked.

The game occupies a little less than 19 gigabytes, which is quite a bit for modern games. However, the size may well increase closer to the release, especially considering that the single player version without access to online multiplayer got on the torrents.

The leak contains 2,664 files, including the cs2.exe executable that can be used to launch the game. This build is not of particular interest, since Counter-Strike fans are interested in online multiplayer, and single-player shooting is unlikely to inspire them. However, even such a stripped-down version of the game allows you to evaluate what the developers have prepared for the new.

Steam store emulator required to run (for example, Goldberg Steam Em). Enthusiasts are already playing with might and main share screenshots, although some gamers report that the game does not start, crashing every time. The release of Counter-Strike 2 (aka CS: GO2) is scheduled for the summer of 2023, and judging by the leak, the developers only have to complete the multiplayer, while most of the work has already been done, and the title is quite playable.
