Azur Promilia: Announcement trailer and pre-registration started

“Azur Promilia” was announced with a trailer and 12 minutes of gameplay. The first information is available.

The side-scroller “Azur Lane” was released in 2017. The title is still particularly popular in the Asian region today popular. An entire franchise has now emerged around the Chinese game. In addition to the actual game, there are two anime series, a manga and a light novel in the same universe. Now another part has been announced with “Azur Promilia”.

While the original was still a mobile game, a version for… Steam and consoles, the sequel starts directly on PC, Playstation 5, Android and iOS.

“Azur Promilia” shifts the plot from war to collecting cute animals. Players must catch and tame the creatures called Kibo. If you want, you can then use some of them as mounts. A breeding system, base construction and farming are also presented.

Many well-known bonds

Not only does this sound a lot like “Palworld”, it also looks a lot like it in the material shown. The popular mechanics were complemented by the anime look of its predecessor. However, “Azur Promilia” also promises other mechanics that are more reminiscent of a role-playing game like “Genshin Impact”. The survival aspect of “Palworld” was not carried over.

The material so far shows the selection of a character from a pool of pre-made characters. There is no character editor to be seen. The source for most of the information is the 12-minute gameplay video that appeared on the WadaGames YouTube channel.

Pre-registration started

“Azur Promilia” currently does not have an exact start date. On the official website However, pre-registration by email is possible. There is also initial information about five characters, three bosses and of course some of the Kibos that need to be caught later. The world map gives an impression of the planned game world. There you can discover concept drawings of the levels. The announcement trailer was also released at the same time as the gameplay.
