Good ergonomics, suits many telephone models even with shells
Collapsible, compact
A little expensive
Only for Android, not iPhone
Tessen gives you an advantage when playing one of the many mobile games supported. Support for external hand controls has been in both Android and in the iPhone for a long time and with Tessen the idea is that your mobile gambling will reach a new level. Instead of being limited by the mobile game's touch screen -based control, you can not have to obscure the screen with your fingers and use the hand control buttons for more direct control.

This hand control works with Android, but not with iPhone. Getting started is easy. The design itself is smart. The control can be folded in the middle, which makes it both easy to carry in, for example, the jacket pocket and adapted for different sizes of phones. It is not possible to guarantee fit on just about all phones, but I test with a variety of, even with shells on and often get good ergonomics. Xiaomi 15 Ultra with its large, protruding camera poses problems, but otherwise it will go well. Even Samsung's foldable Bjässe Galaxy Z FOLD 6 can reach the control.
Tessen is relatively expensive, SEK 1400 at the time of writing, and it is mainly the design and versatility that motivates the price. On the unit there are 14 different buttons plus two joysticks and a strength cross. Some customization can be done and then it is the Armoury Crate app that can be used, it is installed the first time I connect to the phone.

Then when I start the game I play, a message emerges that game control has been connected and I can use the physical buttons instead of pointing directly on the screen. The control buttons can also be adapted. The real benefit I have of the hand control depends, of course, on which game it is. Particularly useful, I notice that the control is in fighting games with many different opportunities to both move and choose how to attack and defend myself.
On the edge around the control is a light loop I can adjust or completely turn off. When I play, it takes power from the phone's battery, but I can also connect the charger directly to the bottom of the control, on the right side, and then charge the phone while playing. The control then allows charging up to 18 W.
