In the quest “Build a Defense Line” you have a lot of tasks to complete. Not only do you have to destroy wasps and fireflies, you also have to climb a crane and barricade windows in a hotel. In this guide to ARC Raiders you will learn how to solve the mission.
Destroy 5 wasps and 3 fireflies
Apollo wants you to destroy five wasps and three fireflies in Riven Tides. Luckily, there are plenty of ARCs flying around this area. So you won’t have to search too long.
You are probably already familiar with wasps. The fireflies are flying ARCs that look most similar to hornets and are equipped with a type of flamethrower.
For the mission it is not necessary that you loot the destroyed ARCs. However, it pays off immediately if you at least collect an ARC alloy. You will need them in the next mission step.
Reinforce the raider structure on a stacking warehouse crane
The Stack Camp is a large area in the east of Riven Tides. You can access a lifting magnet via the containers, from which you can use a zip line that takes you up to the steel girders.
This takes you directly under a roof that is stabilized with nothing but barrels and shopping carts. You can “repair” one of the poles, for which you have to apply an ARC alloy.
Barricade the locked windows in the hotel
Finally we head west to the Hotel Panorama Azzurro. If you haven’t completed the “Safe Haven” quest yet, you can also complete Tian Wen’s task here.
Take the stairs or the zip line to the first floor and looking for room 106 on. Here you will find a barricaded window behind the table and chairs on your left, which you can board up without any further items.
Once that’s done, you can travel back to Speranza. The mission “Build Defense Line” is completed. You can find further quest solutions via our ARC Raiders mission list. Apollo rewards you with the following items for completing it:
