Apple has been working on improving its maps application for many years. In order to be able to achieve this goal, the company sends, among other things, special vehicles to capture images on the streets. In addition, employees with portable systems (backpacks) are used. Step by step, the new cards will be introduced worldwide. Tests have now begun in Israel, Palestine and Saudi Arabia.

Users in the USA have been able to set the new map material for several years. It was then introduced in various countries. Since April of this year is also with us in Germany the completely new card to disposal. Meanwhile also stands “Look Around” available in this country.

Justin O’Beirne, who has his finger on the pulse when it comes to Apple Maps, informs that Apple is now testing the new map material in Israel, Palestine and Saudi Arabia. This marks the 16th expansion of the new map material since its US launch in September 2018.
