Equipped with impressive technology that allows her to travel the Void between dimensions, Alter is a sociopath who swears by instant gratification and the devastation of entire civilizations. A very nasty character whose abilities inevitably revolve around his portals.
Void Passage opens a spatial breach in a wall or ceiling that each player can pass through at will. Gift of the Rift is a passive ability allowing you to interact remotely with frag crates to recover their contents (except shields, that would be bad). Finally, the ultimate Void Nexus opens a portal that other players in the squad can use remotely to instantly gather together. However, their opponents can follow them… ideal for setting up an ambush?

Respawn Entertainment will also rework the map Broken Moon in depth with a few plot twists. A catastrophic accident has destroyed the space colony's protections, leaving debris, meteors and cosmic waves to ravage the land. If the terraforming module has strived to maintain pseudo-livable conditions, the topology is dramatically affected. For example, the Promenade has been completely ravaged, with fragments of alien biological matter contaminating the area. Everything has been replaced with a quarantine zone offering new gameplay options. Likewise, the spaceport and the moon dock have drifted, dislocated, repositioned in the map with a new structure.
Season 21 ofApex Legends will also introduce mythical artifacts, space katars, to collect and customize with different cosmetic sets. This new generic melee weapon is clearly a big vector of monetization for Respawn: between the structure, the subsidiary “theme”, the energy injected, the activation emote and the associated frag crate, the studio makes sure to leave a lot of carrots lying around to motivate players to open their wallets. The team promises, however, that it will be possible to unlock the modules with a new premium currency, Void Fragments, which can be collected in each battle pass (or in certain events).
Finally, Solos mode returns by popular demand to satisfy lone wolves. Respawn has modified its copy to make the clashes more dynamic; thus, the weapons found will be directly improved with all possible accessories to simplify the start of the game. The official press release also mentions specific mechanics, such as automatic healing or second chance tokens. Solos mode will be available from May 7 to June 24.
