After the Fallout hype: The next video game film adaptation is ready

The Japanese publisher Sony has long recognized the potential of video game adaptations and wants to continue turning more first-party titles into films or series in the future. These include, among others, one second season of The Last of Us on HBO, one Horizon: Zero Dawn series on Netflix, like the one that has already been released Gran Turismo cinema blockbuster.

However, the following collaboration between Sony and Peacock is less well known. A joint series on the video game series was already produced last year Twisted metal. But what is it all about?

The titles are a mixture of racing games and shooters that were particularly popular in the 90s and early 2000s. A total of eight parts of the main series were published between 1995 and 2012.
