Amazon has great news for its Prime customers as the well-known and dynamic trio of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are finally back with a new special episode of “The Grand Tour”. This creates general joy and amusement, but there is also one circumstance that ultimately makes you sad.
At the February 16, 2024 Amazon publishes the third episode of season 5 from “The Grand Tour.” As usual, Prime members don't pay anything extra and can watch the fun essentially for free.

The car specialists chose a Jaguar F-Type, a Maserati GranCabrio and an Aston Martin DB9 Volante. Not exactly the cheapest coaches and only partially suitable for a rally through the desert. Since the fourth season, the studio has been a thing of the past. Instead, “The Grand Tour” focused on feature-length specials. They were always among the fans' true favorites. So far we have traveled to Vietnam, Réunion and Madagascar. During the Covid pandemic, the three men had to make do with less exotic destinations: Scotland, England, Wales, Scandinavia and most recently a road trip across Europe.
It's almost over: it's the penultimate episode
But now we're finally off on the big trip again and to Africa. But for fans it will soon be time to say goodbye. Because it is the penultimate episode of “The Grand Tour”. Another adventure in Africa follows later in the year, but then the show ends. What comes next? Nobody knows yet, but probably a longer break first.

After all, the moderators already have other obligations at Amazon. Jeremy Clarkson, for example, has successfully become a farmer and James May is traveling the world, even without his two colleagues.
But now you can look forward to the penultimate episode entitled “Sand Job”, and rightly so. The previous episodes of season 5 have already received the highest ratings on the IMDb with 8.8 and 8.2 points respectively. In short: A Mandatory programnot just for fans of the three lovable slobs.
