A new month means new content on Disney Plus. In May 2024 you can look forward to one new
Star Wars anthology series. In addition, Shardlake, a dramatic historical crime thriller, is available for subscription and is particularly worth a look for fans of Game of Thrones.

Highlight in May 2024: Star Wars: Tales of the Empire
Star Wars: Tales of the Empire is a new anthology series by Dave Filoni and tells a total of six stories about the Sith and the eponymous galactic empire. The individual episodes are self-contained and tell independent adventures about individual people on the dark side of the force.
Does that sound familiar? No wonder, after all, it is the direct successor to the animated series Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi. In Disney's new anthology interpretation, the individual episodes also come with a Running time of 10 to 20 minutes kept short again. You can see the trailer here:

Star Wars: Tales of the Empire brings back two characters from Clone Wars in the dark trailer
Among other things, there is a reunion with the former Jedi Padawan Barriss Offee. It's finally revealed what happened to her after the Clone Wars and Order 66. You will also experience a bloody campaign of revenge by the future sister of the night Morgan Elsbeth after she was robbed of her home.
Star Wars: Tales of the Empire will be released on May 4, 2024i.e. on the official Star Wars Day, on Disney Plus.
