Until the end of the fight with the Nightmare and the attribution of its identity, you will experience the same cutscenes until the disappearance of the last boss of the game. The rest is linked to the ending chosen by the game according to your actions precedents, once Deborah left this Earth.

Bad ending

The bad ending is so to speak…the one you'll probably get at the beginning. Indeed, this lies in your wish to bring Antea back from limbo and will therefore ask you to do everything in this direction.

This includes :

  • THE oaths of Resurrection of Antea
  • THE banishment of every living being for which you will have the choice
  • But where the trap lies lies in quantity of Haunting Cases that you will solve. If you don't solve enough, you'll just get this bad ending.

In this ending, after the final confrontation, you will try to bring your love back to life. However, the Nightmare will regain control of its elongated body and you will be attacked one last time. In this specific case, you will get a cutscene with a reddish sky telling you about the despair of the region… before waking up in the Dark Woods cave in the company of Huntress. But why ? It doesn't seem no associated trophy to this evil end.

True ending

This “true ending”, if we can call it that, will allow you to present yourself at the Nightmare during the final fight with the objective of simply recovering the body of your beloved while allowing her the worthy Ascension that she deserves.

To achieve this goal, you must first:

  • Accomplish the Antea's Ascension Oaths
  • Allow Ascension and in no case the blame of wandering souls that you will come across

During this ending, after the fight, you will be able to give Antea the Ascension for which you will have fought until the final disappearance of the Nightmare. Her spirit will escape and you will take your loved one's body with you. You will also get the Farewell Trophy, my love 🏆.

Good end

Finally, the good ending, if we can also qualify it as such, lies in the resolution of the extinction of the Nightmare and the Resurrection of Antea without any other compensation than living with the guilt of your actions.

To obtain this ending you will have to:

  • Accomplish the Antea's Resurrection Oaths
  • Perform the banishment of every living being encountered in Haunting Cases
  • And justly, complete enough Haunting Events to unlock this ending only in the bad ending

You leave hand in hand and the final cutscene will give you the rest of your epics after everything that has happened. You will also get the Death is a Journey Trophy 🏆.
