The interest in gathering as many collectibles as possible lies on the one hand in obtaining four trophies:

1-star seaside lodge 🏆: having renovated the gîte and grouped 10 collectibles
3-star seaside lodge 🏆: having renovated the gîte and grouped 30 collectibles
5-star seaside lodge 🏆: having renovated the gîte and grouped 60 collectibles
7-star seaside lodge 🏆: having renovated the gîte and grouped the 88 collectibles

On the other hand, a final reward awaits you after having collected the 88 collectible items: it is the piano score One-Winged Angellegendary battle theme against Sephiroth, which rests in the chest next to Johnny.
