Adidas is moving its SAP system to AWS clouds

The sports company Adidas is now migrating its SAP environment to Amazon Web Services, the companies write in a joint press release.

Running business-critical SAP work in the cloud is intended to enable Adidas to digitize processes in the business throughout the value chain. This is to give consumers a better experience and create a more data-driven business that also supports new business models.

AWS will partly support the company’s physical stores through tools such as machine learning and analysis that can be used to streamline work and create a cloud-based customer experience with things like personal discounts and the like.

The cloud tools will also help Adidas designers develop new products faster and cheaper. It will also make it easier for Adidas to predict the demand for different products from season to season.
