A detailed trailer for the upcoming animation series with Lara Croft is available. Here, Netflix gives you a detailed insight into the new adventure of the world-famous archaeologist.





You can soon watch Lara Croft’s new adventure on Netflix.


Netflix used Geeked Week 2024 to present numerous trailers for upcoming films, series and anime. One of them concerns the animated series “Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft”.

Exactly one year ago we the first insight seen. The story is told here that is linked to the last video game spin-off “Shadow of the Tomb Raider”. The media company Legendary Television and the development studio Crystal Dynamics are responsible for the production. The animations, however, are being handled by Powerhouse Animation Studios.

In search of a Chinese artifact

After the events of the Survivor trilogy, an incident forces our heroine to embark on her next adventure. A Chinese artifact was stolen from Craft Manor, so Lara goes out into the world. Once again, the archaeologist explores remote places and abandoned tombs. In doing so, she tries to find out who she really is and who she wants to be in the future.

The last trailer lasted just over a minute, now you can admire scenes from the series for over two minutes:

What fans notice positively: Lara finally has her iconic dual pistols again after the reboot in 2013.

In addition to “Tomb Raider,” the first teaser for the “Splinter Cell” series was shown. Here you can see the popular secret agent Sam Fisher on a mission.



Netflix revealed the release date of “Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft” in June with a short video. From October 10th you can watch the series as a subscriber. The cheapest option from the streaming provider will cost you 4.99 euros per month.
