But there are still a few parallels to the original. Once again you find yourself in the Tau Ceti system, more precisely on the planet Tau Ceti IV. Colonists have disappeared there and your task is to track them down, recover alien artifacts and confront strange AIs.

In terms of gameplay, you can expect the usual fare including loot collection and a large map, which you have to successfully leave after completing your goals without giving up the spoon first.

It is not yet known when exactly the marathon will start in 2025. But the platforms are already certain and you won't find any big surprises here: PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S are all served.

If the prospect of another extraction shooter doesn't appeal to you, you now have three classic first-person shooters that you don't even have to pay for.
