The remaster will arrive in June
Taking advantage of the last Nintendo Direct, Capcom announced a remastered version for Monster Hunter Stories. This great spin-off, initially released in 2016 on 3DS, offered a very nice RPG adventure, taking place in the universe of the famous hunting game license, but swapping direct clashes against creatures for a Pokémon-style system. , where you must ally with them to fight in turn-based battles.
A few years later, we are offered a version brought up to date: this one took place last night, Monster Hunter Stories Remaster will be available on June 14, 2024 on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Capcom has released a new trailer, showing us the graphical advances since the original opus. In addition to visual improvements, this new version will bring new translations, a Museum mode and above all, an adventure now fully dubbed in Japanese and English.

A compilation and a physical PS4 version
In the process, Capcom confirmed a PlayStation 4 version for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, also scheduled for June 14, 2024. This sequel, released in 2021 on Nintendo Switch and PC, will align with the remaster to also offer the adventure on Sony consoles. Nothing new here, it's just a port, keeping the same adventure as at the time.
However, we can highlight the arrival of a bundle, Monster Hunter Stories Collection, bringing together the first and second games in the same pack, just to save a few coins in the process. This collection will be sold digitally on PS4, Switch and Steam but also physically on PS4. Yes, only on PS4. Surprising choice, the Americas and Japan will be entitled to a physical version on Switch but not on PS4.
Finally, in addition to two costumes for the Navirou as a pre-order bonus, a Deluxe edition (digital only) will be offered bringing together:
