Persona 3 Reload: We take apart a few demons on the PC

It's not for nothing that it's one of the JRPG series with the most enthusiastic fans: With Persona 3 Reload, Sega is bringing the 2008 role-playing game technically into the present and on the PC, albeit at a proud price. Fans are still happy: almost 14,000 reviewers on Steam give it a 95 percent positive rating.

You play as an exchange student who gets caught between space and time, fights with his party against shadowy creatures, has a lot of dialogue and takes part in all sorts of mini-games. As is typical for the series, the focus of the plot is on interpersonal relationships.

A new co-op shooter that barely gets any attention: Sker ritual However, it was able to build up a fan base thanks to its spiritual predecessor Maid of Sker. And they largely rate the successor on Steam positively. A free demo is also available there.

You go into dark levels either alone or with friends and have to fight for survival while hordes of monsters attack you. Some fans lovingly compare the gameplay to the zombie mode of the CoD series.

In Toy Shire you send toy soldiers into battle

A strange premise: Your old toys are jealous and are now attacking your new toy. In Toy Shire Build plastic soldiers for tower defense and defend yourself against rebellious action figures.

The Steam demo of the unusual strategy game received 93 percent approval from around 850 reviewers. Toy Shire will be released as a full version in the third quarter of 2024. A price has not yet been announced.

Planet S

Anno in space, that's how some fans describe the real-time strategy game Planet S. The free game collects almost 2,000 reviews on Steam, 91 percent of which are positive.

You first colonize a planet, populating it with different social classes that have increasingly higher demands. For special resources you will soon have to move on to the next sphere. The goal is a network through which trade, science and, if you want to wage war, troop transport are made possible.

20 small mazes

Anyone who likes creative puzzles will find… 20 small mazes a real crowd pleaser. 98 percent of 3,700 Steam reviews are positive. The game is also completely free.

Fans particularly celebrate the sophisticated design of the 20 labyrinths that give it its name. Some of them require a lot of twisting of your brain. If you consider yourself a puzzle professional, you might find a worthwhile challenge here.
