We users at GamersGlobal always enjoy giving each other gifts. To ensure that this exuberant giving and generosity doesn't get out of hand and escalate completely, our users organize the Christmas Secret Santa game within the GG community every year at this time. Our user started this tradition McSpainwhich was kindly published in 2016 Stephan Windmüller was represented. The users have been taking over since Christmas 2017 Olipool and COFzDeep the role of the head gnome, with Olipool having already completed two successful solo gnome missions.
The whole thing is a pretty simple matter: if you take part, you'll end up in a draw. Each participant is randomly assigned a different user who they can give a gift to. Once you have received your gift goal, you choose something that this user might like (and he/she doesn't have or even want) and give it to them. Of course, you will also be randomly assigned to a user who will in turn give you a gift. So that no one gives too much or too little, the expenditure should be between five and ten euros. As we know there are enough sales in December, you should be able to find something suitable for everyone. For easy delivery and tracking of gifts, the promotion is limited to the Steam, GOG and XBox platforms.
If you want to take part in the thirteenth edition of the GG-Wichteln, simply send a PM to COFzDeep or Olipool or get in touch in the forum thread – ideally with your Steam name or the email address you use for GOG or XBox, including your username and information which platform you use and which you don't. You are also welcome to send along a wish list or the link to your Steam profile. Your chosen gnome will then receive this information. Registrations will be accepted until 12/15/2024 around 11:59 p.m assumed. The draw will take place the next day and you have until 12/26/2024 Time to give a gift to the user who was randomly assigned to you.
Of course, the whole thing is based on the trust that nobody wants to take advantage of anyone, so there is a small restriction on participation: you have to be a registered user on GG for at least half a year and have reached at least rank 12.
