Former Apple designer Imran Chaudhry demonstrated an AI-powered wearable device that projects an image onto the arm at a non-profit TED Foundation event.

Chaudhry founded his own startup Humane, which develops and manufactures the device.The gadget is worn on the arm and hidden under clothing, only the lenses through which the image is shown are open, as well as the camera and speakers.

The designer claims that his development will replace smartphones in the future.Features shown include real-time speech translation and the ability to answer incoming calls.It is noted that these are far from all the features of the device, however, while they are not ready for their demonstration, they will be shown more clearly in the coming months.
